A Sizzling Success on Open Farm Sunday!
Last Sunday was a scorching day at Dennington Hall Farms, but the heat couldn’t dampen our spirits as we hosted our much-anticipated Open Farm Sunday. We were delighted by the incredible turnout and could not be more grateful for all the friendly faces, young and old, who joined us for a day filled with fun, laughter and learning.
As we opened the gates to our farm, it was heartwarming to see so many people eagerly exploring and enjoying everything we had to offer. A staggering 700 people joined us, and we were genuinely touched by the support and interest shown in our farm.
The sweltering weather didn't deter anyone; instead, it added to the adventure of the day. We were amazed at how well everyone coped with the heat, staying hydrated and making the most of the shade when needed. It truly showcased the resilience and enthusiasm of our visitors.
We are delighted to share that, thanks to the generosity of those who attended, we were able to raise an impressive £610 for our chosen charities, East Anlglia Children’s Hospices (each) and Yana (You are not alone - rural mental health support). The funds raised will help support their valuable work, and we are thrilled to contribute to their causes.
In addition to our visitors, we want to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the exhibitors who took the time to participate in our Open Farm Sunday. Their dedication and enthusiasm in showcasing their expertise and passion were truly remarkable. They helped create an educational and inspiring atmosphere that left a lasting impact on our visitors.
