Farming & food

At Dennington Hall Farms we farm 1,500ha of heavy land in East Suffolk where we operate a 12 year cropping rotation. We take pride in carefully selecting and growing crops that are well-suited to our land, climate and the surrouding ecosystems while ensuring optimal yields and exceptional quality. We endeavour to harmonize commercial farming with nature through careful implementation of regenerative practices.

As we embark on our regenerative farming journey, we are thrilled by its close alignment with our commitment to sustainability and responsible land stewardship.

We farm with a vision to enhance our environment now and for future generations while cultivating abundant, high-quality crops.

We are taking a holistic approach by focusing on building soil health, promoting biodiversity, and sequestering carbon. This approach embraces a range of techniques such as cover cropping, crop rotation, and managed grazing to rejuvenate the land, enabling it to become more resilient to climate change impacts and capable of supporting sustainable food production in the long run.

Through innovative approaches, we are embracing regenerative agriculture and look forward to exploring and implementing innovative techniques, forging partnerships, and contributing to a thriving agricultural ecosystem. With every harvest, we strive to nurture the land, contribute to a healthier ecosystem, and provide our customers with the best possible agricultural products.

What we Grow

Our Livestock

We firmly feel that livestock are an important part of any regenerative farm. We have a small, suckler herd of pedigree Red Poll, Aberdeen Angus and British Friesian cattle.

We are also grateful to our neighbours who bring their stock to graze our fields.
