1. How often are meat boxes available?

We release a new batch of meat boxes each month. Pre-orders for the next batch will open a few days after the previous batch has been delivered or collected. Join our mailing list to get notified of early releases and any discount opportunities.

4. What’s in the meat box?

Each box includes a curated selection of estate venison and/or Red Poll beef. The exact contents may vary slightly month-to-month depending on what’s in season and available. The contents of each box is clearly listed and described when making the selection on the website.

5. Can I subscribe to a monthly box?

Not yet, but we’re working on it! For now, orders are handled batch-by-batch and you’ll need to order each month.

6. Is the meat fresh or frozen?

All our meat is fresh and vacuum packed at the butchery to preserve freshness.

7. Can I buy extra items (e.g. just mince or steaks)?

Yes we sell a small selection of individual cuts. If you would like anything specific please let us know.

8. What happens if I miss the collection time?

Please contact Islay in the Farm Office on 01728 638712 as soon as possible and you can arrange another time.

9. How do I store the meat?

Our meat is supplied fresh and vacuum-packed for maximum flavour and shelf life. You can keep it in the fridge and use it within a few days, or freeze it on the day of collection or delivery if you’d prefer to store it for longer.

10. Is your packaging recyclable?

We use recyclable or compostable packaging wherever possible. Full instructions are included with your delivery box.
